Scrolling through everything just to find an important entry can take a lot of time. This is exactly where the pinning function comes into play.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0758b51 elementor-widget-divider--view-line elementor-widget elementor-widget-global elementor-global-3069 elementor-global-2023 elementor-widget-divider\" data-id=\"0758b51\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"divider.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-divider\">\n\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-divider-separator\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3325f6d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3325f6d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>If this function has been activated by your system administrator and your security role allows this (with write and delete rights), you can pin certain data records, such as notes or activities, so that they always remain at the top of the timeline. This makes it much easier to find them again later.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>To pin a data record, simply click on the pin symbol next to it. The entry is moved to a special area at the top of the timeline, which is labeled <strong>&#8220;Pinned&#8221;<\/strong>. This area shows how many data records are pinned and allows a maximum of 15 entries at the same time. Each pinned data record remains there for one year unless it is deleted manually.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>\u2705 <strong>Quick tip on permissions:<\/strong><br>If pinning does not work for you, check the settings for your security role. You will find &#8220;Timeline Pin&#8221; under the &#8220;Custom Entities&#8221; tab. The <strong>Create, Read and Delete<\/strong> authorizations must be activated here.
